We are sorry for not writing during this week but sometimes Internet connection is not easy in Japan. All Japanese people have TV and Internet in their mobile phones so why they should need wifi?
After Yokohama and Kamakura, where we visited the second biggest Buda in Japan, we finally arrived in Tokyo. Fortunately we got there during the weekend and it was not that packed.
We spent three days visiting this amazing city (Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara (electronic city), Odaiba) and admiring their culture and their freak things. In Tokyo we had our first Couchsurfing experience and we loved it. We met Mizue, a Japanese woman, who invited us to her place where we spent all the afternoon talking, doing origami and some other typical Japaneses activities!! We had such a good time....and with the most fabulous views of the city because she lives on the 18th floor!!
After so much city we spent a day in Hakone and we did a tour with train, cable car, boat......lots of ways to travel but we couldn't see the Fuji mountain because it was a cloudy day. Unlucky people!!! In fact we all three think we saw a little part of Fuji.....who knows!!! We had really nice views anyway.
We visited Nara on Friday and we loved it. We saw Todai-ji temple, the biggest wooden building in the world with the biggest Japanese Buda inside. One of the supporting posts in the Great Buddha Hall has a hole—apparently the same size as one of the Daibutsu's nostrils - and it is said that those who pass through it will be blessed with enlightenment in their next life. We'll let you know if the legend it's true!!
Que chulo tot plegat! No pareu! I coneixent gent d'allà i parlant amb ella, això mola un munt, quan t'expliquen tot de coses del país... És fantàstic aquest viatge, ja ens passareu tota la info!
